Denga 1663-1676, Alexey Mikhailovich Romanov, 1645-1674
The denomination of a coin is determined by its weight - 23 grams, which is approximately half the weight of a Kopek. On money, the rider should be with a saber, not a spear. On our coin, the side with the rider is quite worn out, but it is clear that between the horse’s legs there is no protruding spear.
Denga is 1/2 kopeck.
These coins do not have a specific shape, they are very small, which is why they are called “scales” (like fish scales). But it is real ancient coins.
The diameter and thickness for “scale” coins (these are coins before 1700) are approximate, they are common to all coins.
