Anthony Ferdinand Ossendovsky - Russian and Polish traveler, journalist, writer and social activist. This talented mystificator, from November 1917 to April 1918 produced about 150 documents on the "German-Bolshevik conspiracy" known as the "Sisson Documents". During the Civil War was in the public service of the Russian government. In 1922 he returned to Poland. Ossendovsky has become internationally famous for his fictionalized book about the Civil War in Siberia and Mongolia, "And beasts and men and gods". Also he written a book about Lenin ("Lenin - the god of the godless") and several novels of Polish history. He participated in the resistance movement in Poland, died of natural causes shortly before Soviet troops in Warsaw. In the house of Ossendowski as well-known "anti-Soviet" a search was conducted by soviet counterintelligence and his body was dug from the grave for identification purposes.
